Death effects us all. This Festival explores how to get and give support for those situations that are the most painful and difficult in life.
With the opioid crisis, overseas and local gang wars, and personal tragedies, today’s families are struggling with a quiet yet very real struggle of loss. This Festival explores how to get and give support for these difficult situations.
Join us in a community wide gathering of over 20 New West service providers and people from all walks of life committed to making New West a Compassionate City.

WHERE: Tipperary Park, Site of Summer Farmer’s Market, adjacent to city hall.
WHAT: Music – Community Drum Circle and Live Performances
Art – The Compassionate 1: Personal Images of Loss and Healing, photographs that invite us to engage with the broad theme of loss and healing.
Food – BBQ provided by the New West Firefighters Charitable Society
