A Dialogue on Death and Dying is to normalize the conversations in our community about the totally natural human events that are kept far too secret in our Western culture: Death and Dying.
Join us for this very special event featuring a variety of speakers, musicians, and performers. There will be daytime and evening events on all days. Stay tuned! More details to come.

This will be the Opening Night of the Dialogue. The Poetry Night is pleased to present Elliott Slinn (New Westminster Poet Laureate) and Candice James (New Westminster Poet Laureate, Emeritus) as the main poets. They will be reading their poems about death and dying. In addition, Candice James is also intending to present and sell her most recent poetry book on death and dying, which was actually inspired by this special poetry event. In conjunction with the RCLAS (Royal City Literary Arts Society), we will also have an Open Mic where RCLAS poets can add to the dialogue with their poems about death and dying. Register at the front desk at Century House.
