A Dialogue on Death and Dying is to normalize the conversations in our community about the totally natural human events that are kept far too secret in our Western culture: Death and Dying.

Join us for this very special event featuring a variety of speakers, musicians, and performers. There will be daytime and evening events on all days.  Stay tuned! More details to come.

On our final evening, we will first have a spoken word Open Mic where a group of local seniors will read some of their stories about death and dying. Then we will have Dr. Susan Breiddal, who is a Hospice Counsellor and the author of “In the Shadow of Angels: Intimate Stories from a Hospice Counsellor”. She will read one of the moving stories from her book about being a hospice counsellor. Copies will also be available for sale at this event. Finally, at the end of the evening, we will encourage the audience members to gather in small groups, each with a facilitator, to have a dialogue with each other about their own personal experiences with death and dying.
