A Musical Dialogue on Death and Dying
In a style similar to a Coffee House, this evening’s performance will be a musical dialogue about how our words, our music, and our choices impact our thoughts and our feelings about death and dying. We will have Elliott Slinn, who is the Poet Laureate of New Westminster, sing and talk to us about how his words reflect his thoughts on death and dying. We will also have, The Cat Murphy Band, with the local music teacher, Kaitlyn Deavy. The band members will sing and discuss how their music impacts and reflects their feelings on death and dying. Finally, Jane Slemon, an accomplished musician, and the Director of Care at the Rotary Hospice House in Richmond, will sing and talk about how both words and music can help us with our choices about death and dying. Register at the front desk at Century House.
