Join us on Sunday, May 4th for the New West Hospice Society’s annual fundraising event RiverWalk!
Now is the time to get signed up and start collecting donations via our CanadaHelps page.
Every dollar raised goes toward providing valuable hospice programs in New Westminster. When you join RiverWalk, you are supporting the New West Hospice Society and joining our commitment to building a Compassionate City.
We are happy to report that, through sponsorships and donations, RiverWalk has raised $6,000 so far – more than halfway to our goal of $10,000!
We are so thankful to our sponsors: Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services, Cassady Law LLP, and John P. Folka – as well as community support from Fraser Health and the City of New Westminster.
If you’re in the neighbourhood, we are partnering with Rivers Reach Pub as the community charity benefiting from their Sunday afternoon Meat Draw! Rivers Reach supports local farmers by purchasing high quality, locally sourced meat to give away as a prize.
- Meat Draws are held at 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, and 3:00pm
- Tickets are $1/each
- 50/50 Draw is held in the late afternoon
- Tickets are $2 each, or 3 tickets for $5, and additional deals for spending $10 or $20
Representatives from the New West Hospice Society will be there every Sunday in April to say hi!
